Eaden

Eaden is the new construction of a single family residence in Clackamas County, outside of Oregon City, Ore. Positioned on a five acre site upslope from the Clackamas River, the structure sits atop an east-facing hillside, with a quintessential westside Oregon view of Mount Hood.

The scheme seeks to resolve a limited building footprint due to existing infrastructure and topography, and will align a classic PNW form to extend sightlines across the landscape to Mount Hood. The home contains three distinct volumes: the primary central Living space with Kitchen, a more private Family and Bedroom wing, and a utility wing containing an attached Garage and Shop. Each of these are shaped in response to their program requirements, the landscape they engage, and their relationship to one another.

Eaden is due to start construction in Summer 2024.
